Over the course of eight episodes, Castle Impossible has captivated the HGTV audience as they join Daphne Reckert and Ian Figueira on their journey to renovate a 500-year-old castle. Together, the couple has updated a bedroom, kitchen, playroom, workshop, bathing chamber, and more.
But, the June 17 episodes marks the end of the series. Daphne and Ian work to renovate one of the chateau’s bedrooms, which once hosted kings and queens of France. But, with the show’s end, fans are wondering what the future holds for Château de Lésigny.
When Daphne and Ian shared photos from a recent episode on Instagram, they were bombarded with messages about the show, and viewers can all agree: we want more of this show! They left messages like:
- “I’m loving your show, you two are the cutest! Please tell us there will be a season 2! 🙏🏻🙏🏻”
- “We are praying there is a season 2 @hgtv @streamonmax @discoveryplus you guys are killing this restore and it’s so awesome seeing it ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
- “Best show on HGTV in a long time. We need to see the chateau thru to completion @hgtv”
- “Noooooooooo not the season finale!!! I need season 2 ASAP!”
A representative from HGTV confirmed that there is no news to share yet, but we will remain optimistic. After all, Daphne and Ian have only scratched the surface of the castle renovation and they could continue for many seasons to come.
But, once you’ve finished up Castle Impossible (all episodes will be available to stream on Max), be sure to check out their YouTube channel, The Beau Chateau.
