Mexico will face Turkey on Tuesday in its final tune-up before the Gold Cup kicks off.

El Tri fell 4-2 to Switzerland over the weekend, and will now look to avoid heading into their Gold Cup title defense on the back of two straight defeats.

Turkey, meanwhile, is coming off a 2-1 win over the United States in a friendly on Saturday. Arda Güler and Kerem Aktürkoğlu scored in a three-minute span in the first half to give their side the win.

Mexico head coach Javier Aguirre named his final 26-man Gold Cup roster last week, but will have a 34-player squad available for this match.

This will be the first ever meeting between Mexico and Turkey.

After this match, Mexico will travel to Los Angeles, where it will kick off the Gold Cup on Saturday against the Dominican Republic at SoFi Stadium.
