Tom Brady & Irina Shayk’s Very Private Romance

Tom Brady‘s love life might be heating up, but he isn’t interested in making it a public conversation.

Ever since the retired NFL star, Tom Brady, divorced his wife, Gisele Bündchen, after 13 years of marriage, his romantic pursuits have been a hot topic. There were unsubstantiated rumors about Brady with Kim Kardashian and his reported fling with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brooks Nader, but they never went the distance. Maybe that’s because the 47-year-old athlete keeps circling back to one woman: Irina Shayk.

Brady and Shayk are reportedly “hanging out” again as of February 2025, according to Life & Style. A source described their under-the-radar relationship as “a little cloak and dagger so that they can avoid the attention and the pressure of being a couple in the public eye.” The issue of privacy keeps coming up in their relationship, so the duo is hoping to keep the fans and press out of their alleged romance. 

“They’re trying it again but this time around they agreed to fly under the radar,” the insider added. “It’s all very no strings attached as well, which is another reason they don’t want to flaunt what they’ve got going on, they’re not in that stage of the relationship. He’s still cherishing his independence. But they do have a good time together.”

Brady and Shayk first had a whirlwind, high-profile affair in May 2023, lasting about five months. At the time, it seemed pretty serious. 

“Tom is really ecstatic that this is happening, he feels that they totally get each other, and he really finds her extremely interesting, entrepreneurial, and has a clever sense of humor that really appeals to everything he is all about,” a source told Daily Mail in July 2023. “She is not just a fling; he really wants to make this work.”

Shayk was equally as enamored with the former quarterback and a friend shared the supermodel’s feelings about Brady with People in August 2023. 

“[She’s] impressed with Tom. He is her dream guy. She loves dating him,” the pal said. “They work around their schedules and meet up wherever they can. Irina doesn’t mind traveling to see him. She is very excited about their relationship.”

Even though the once-sizzling romance fizzled out, Brady and Shayk kept finding their way back to each other. But there’s one thing for certain this time around, they aren’t taking their relationship to the red carpet or celebrity hotspots. It’s strictly out of the public eye this time around — exactly where Brady and Shayk want to keep it.
