Here at Inside the Thunder, we pride ourselves on delivering relevant headlines that don’t manipulate the readers. Basically, we’re above clickbait, although this article might be an exception. While Skip Bayless did deliver a brutal critique of Draymond Green on behalf of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, he hardly “rushed” to do so.
In October, Green foolishly declared that the Oklahoma City Thunder don’t scare anyone in the league. At the time, the Warriors were 4-1 and looked like they had tapped into a vintage “Light Years” performance that would last the entire season.
Now, five months after Green’s initial comments, Bayless finally loaded up a clapback.

The veteran talk show host argued that the only reason Green is feared around the league is because he’s been known to fight or hurt opponents.

“Nobody’s afraid of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander? That’s what Draymond says. I don’t know why not,” said Bayless. “Maybe because he doesn’t talk trash, he doesn’t cheap-shot anybody the way Draymond does — the all-time dirtiest player in the history of the league. Is it because SGA is a really nice guy? Who, by the way, down the stretch of games is looking more and more like a cold-blooded assassin? Are you watching, Draymond?”
In Green’s defense, he made those comments only four games into the season. Granted, the Thunder had won all three, but with the exception of the Denver Nuggets, none of those teams had hopes of making the playoffs.

Fortunately, Green is never one to let sleeping dogs die (maybe Bayless is onto something) and will likely call out Bayless on his next podcast episode.

At this point, anyone, Green included, would give the Thunder and SGA their proper credit for an amazing season.
