The Green Bay Packers are signing undrafted Georgia defensive lineman Nazir Stackhouse following the end of the 2025 NFL draft, according to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.
Stackhouse (6-3, 327) was a three-year starter at Georgia. He played in 59 games and made 42 starts for the talented Bulldogs defensive line, playing mostly as a nose tackle.

The Packers lost TJ Slaton in free agency, opening a big hole at nose tackle on the 53-man roster. Dane Brugler of The Athletic gave Stackhouse a grade in the fifth or sixth round, so it’s possible he’ll be a legitimate candidate to make the roster as a backup this summer.
In fact, it wouldn’t be unfair — given his experience at Georgia and the position he plays, a need in Green Bay — to view Stackhouse as the ninth draft pick in the Packers’ draft class.
Brugler’s scouting report: “Stackhouse is power-packed and tough to displace in the middle of the line. Though he is appropriately named (because he probably could stack a house), his shed isn’t as impressive — you’d like to see him play more physically against single blocks and bring a little more juice as a backfield disruptor. Overall, Stackhouse is a naturally powerful human who can two-gap, eat up double teams and make run stops at the line. He will add early-down nose tackle depth to an NFL defense.”
Over the last three seasons, Stackhouse produced seven tackles for loss and two sacks. He was a second-team All-SEC pick in 2023. Big and powerful, Stackhouse showed an ability take on blockers, plug gaps and keep linebackers clean for Kirby Smart in Athens.

The Packers drafted defensive lineman Warren Brinson in the sixth round, so two Georgia defensive front players are headed to Green Bay.
Lance Zierlein’s scouting report: “Two-down rotational defensive tackle with good strength but limited production. Stackhouse is a block-eater with tight hips that limit his ability at the point of attack, but he’s still hard to move out of the hole. He’s more powerful than twitchy and is slow getting off the ball and into his action upfield or laterally. His lack of quickness, production and pass-rush ability could cap his draft value but there is always a market for big, strong guys who can play the run.”
