Love Island USA fans think they’ve uncovered Taylor’s real feelings for Olandria after a kiss that left viewers questioning his true intentions
Monday night’s Love Island USA episode featured a romantic moment between Taylor Williams and Olandria Carthen – but not everyone is convinced it was genuine.
The pair have been coupled up from the very first day and seemed to be getting along well at first. However, things took a turn when Taylor admitted he wasn’t feeling a strong attraction to Olandria. Following his confession, viewers voted to pair Olandria with new arrival Jalen Brown during Sunday’s recoupling. The duo enjoyed a scenic boat ride around Fiji and a relaxing massage on the beach.
However, Olandria’s connection with Jalen didn’t last long — once she returned to the villa, she rushed back to Taylor, and before long, the two shared a kiss.

However, fans weren’t entirely sold on Taylor’s intentions. Many pointed out that his body language didn’t match his words, describing his behavior as “confusing” and emotionally distant.
During their kiss, fans pointed out that Taylor “leaned away” and seemed “uncomfortable.” Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one person wrote, “Is Taylor leaning back here?”
Another viewer wrote, “I caught that too, he looks so uncomfortable in that kiss and is for sure leaning away from her.” A third said, “That looks so forced… “
“I think she genuinely likes him and is exploring her options, but isn’t catching that Taylor isn’t into her,” a fourth added.
A fifth said, “Taylor look so disgusting with the kiss,” while a sixth penned, “Taylor‘s body language… yikes.”
Another fan wrote, “I hope she wakes up and goes for Jalen, he seems really sweet and intentional about her while keeping it respectful.”
In a recent episode, Taylor opened up to islander Ace Greene, revealing his growing doubts about where things stood with Olandria.
He said, “There is something there but it’s just like… If the physical attraction is not there, it’s not there. I don’t even know how to get the physical attraction.”
Ace was quick to defend Olandria, applauding her sweet gesture of making him breakfast and warning that she “won’t wait around forever.”
And true to those words, Olandria didn’t. When Jalen entered the villa, she welcomed the chance to explore a new connection.
Following the recoupling — which left Taylor standing solo — he turned to Ace and opened up, “The growth for me liking her in the past week has been crazy.”
Ace responded, “Women like to see effort, if he’s stepping up and matching your energy, it’s going to be let the best man win.”
