Kris Jenner Shares Rare Throwback Photos of Rob Kardashian

Rob Kardashian is 38 — and mom Kris Jenner is celebrating her only son’s birthday with rare photos of the ultra-private former reality star.

“Happy birthday to my amazing son Rob!” the 69-year-old momager captioned her Monday, March 17, Instagram upload, which featured 18 throwback pictures of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum, who has chosen to live his life out of the spotlight for nearly a decade. “You are truly one of my life’s most special blessings and joys and I thank God He chose me to be your Mom… you are such an incredible Dad, Son, Brother, Uncle, Grandson and best friend, and I cherish every memory we have made. We celebrate you today and I love you so very much 🥳💫⭐️🌟💚☘️🍀🤩🎂🙏🏼🥰💚 @robkardashianofficial.”

Some of Jenner’s photos of her son include images from his own childhood — snaps with herself, Rob’s late father Robert Kardashian, sister Khloe Kardashian and more — as well as more recent photos, including a shot with his 8-year-old daughter Dream, whom he shares with ex Blac Chyna.

While Rob was featured on the Kardashian-Jenner’s first reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians — and later parlayed his brief romance with Chyna, 36, into their own spin-off, Rob & Chyna — he hasn’t appeared on the family’s Hulu series, The Kardashians, and has opted for a life away from the cameras.

As for his future in the public eye, sister Khloé Kardashian — who also shared a throwback photo of her and Rob for his 38th birthday — shared on a 2023 episode of The Kardashians that she’s hopeful her brother will make a return.

“I do think Rob would come back to the show. He talks about it a lot,” Khloé, 40, shared. “But I do know Rob has been through a lot personally. But he’s literally the best dad I know, and I’m so proud of him for that. And I know that’s he’s just feeling good about himself, and I’m happy for him. So, I have faith that soon he’ll be back on the show.”

Rob’s most recent Instagram post, for his part, was celebrating his mom’s 69th birthday in November 2024.

“Happy Birthday mama !! @krisjenner I love you so much!” the father-of-one wrote at the time, along with a photo of Jenner sitting in front of her birthday cake. “Wishing you good health and Happiness forever mom ! Thank you for being the best mom to all of us! 🥰🥰🥰💘💙🕺🎈🎂🥂🫂‼️🎆🍻👹🥹💙💙💙.”
