Kelley Wolf Appears to Be Detained by Police on Instagram Live After Making ‘Concerning’ Comments to Family amid Scott Wolf Split

Kelley Wolf appears to be in police custody.

On Friday, June 13, a video uploaded to Kelley’s Instagram profile seemed to capture the moment that police officers arrived to take her into custody, though the nature of the detainment is unclear.

“Oh my God. Don’t. Oh my God, this is not happening,” Kelley said in the video, which only displayed a black screen until the last few seconds. At the end of the clip, Wolf appears on camera alongside the responding police officers.

The incident comes three days after she revealed in an Instagram post that she and her husband of 21 years, Party of Five star Scott Wolf, have split.

Kelley told the police officers she’ll “go on my own.” What appears to be the sound of handcuffs is audible in the background.

“This is shameful, gentlemen,” she told the authorities. “Look at this, look at this woman, this is shameful. Be ashamed, be ashamed of yourselves, gentlemen.”

One of the officers then told her she’s “not going to jail” and that they are going to get her “some help,” and she replied, “I know what I’m doing, I’ve done this. This is my job.”

The officer then said that Kelley, 48, has “made some comments to your dad and comments to people that are concerning,” so they “want to make sure you’re okay.”

She was then informed that her phone was still recording by another police officer, and she said she “didn’t mean to” record but asked that it be turned off.

The video ended with a brief flash of Kelley, with two cops behind her, as she ended the recording.

Kelley has not responded to requests for comment from PEOPLE and a rep for Scott did not immediately respond.

Shortly after posting her Instagram Live, Kelley shared a photo of her belongings on Instagram Stories with blocks of text over the picture. “This is horrible. I have been taken against my will. Please check on my kids,” she wrote.

In another block of text she added, “Also… I am happy!! Happier than I have ever been.”

The caption continued, “I have NO idea why or how this is happening in AMERICA. I am compliant, calm and respectful, and hopefully this is all sorted very quickly. In the meantime, be kind to each other. This is one of the darkest things I’ve ever experienced.”

In her June 10 statement announcing her split from Scott, 57, with whom she shares sons Jackson and Miller and daughter Lucy, Kelley said it had been “a long, quiet journey for me—rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children. While I will not speak publicly about the details, I feel peace knowing that I’ve done everything I can to walk this path with integrity and compassion.”

Scott also shared a statement with PEOPLE about the split, as he called it “the most difficult decision of my life” and revealed he had filed for divorce.

“Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.”
