Ilia Topuria continues to predict a violent end to Charles Oliveira’s title hopes at UFC 317.
At that event on June 28, the two stars will conclude the UFC’s International Fight Week festivities at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
After bidding farewell to his featherweight reign, Topuria will battle Oliveira at UFC 317 for the lightweight title, which Islam Makhachev is vacating ahead of his welterweight move.

Ever since the championship headliner between Topuria and Oliveira was announced by Dana White, the former featherweight king has promised a violent finish.
The Spaniard’s predictions have come true in the UFC thus far. Topuria knocked Alexander Volkanovski out and sent Max Holloway to the same fate to make good on his 2024 vows.
Topuria has made a similar forecast for his showdown with Oliveira, and the 28-year-old recently reiterated that with another ominous warning to ‘Do Bronx’ alongside some new training footage.
“Don’t forget to bring the pillow, @CharlesDoBronxs,” Topuria wrote on X.

Topuria’s power has frequently been on display throughout his undefeated career. Oliveira, though, isn’t concerned.
In fact, the Brazilian fan favorite expects to have an edge in that department come fight night on June 28, as he looks to begin a second stint on the lightweight throne.
“I don’t care much about what people say there. In reality, that’s the reality,” Oliveira told Full Violence. “I know he’s (Topuria) a guy who hits hard, but he’s talking about the lightweight category, the harder category.
“I fought against Justin Gaethje and everyone said he was the guy who hit harder, and when I did, he went down,” Oliveira added.
“I believe in the power of fire in the hands that I have, so let’s wait, on the 28th we’ll meet.”
Gaethje has corroborated Oliveira’s claim in the past. Despite the Brazilian being known for his grappling, ‘The Highlight’ named ‘Do Bronx’ as the hardest hitter he’s faced inside the Octagon.
