Dropkick Murphys demanded Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) be shipped “out of Boston” in parody of their famous song at the “No Kings” rally on Saturday.
The Celtic punk band performed their “I’m Shipping Up to Boston” at a rally in protest of the Trump administration in Boston. However, the band altered the lyrics to “Ship Them Out of Boston,” calling it a “special ICE edition” in protest of ICE operations.
“You know what the Dropkick Murphys want to bring to this event and to all these protests? A little less kumbaya and a little more of ‘we’re sick of this b—s—,’” Dropkick Murphys lead singer Ken Casey reportedly said, according to The Daily Free Press.

During the rally, the band also performed a song called “Don’t Call Me a F—ing Terrorist” where Casey called out people who labeled others who “pay their taxes” and “help the poor” as terrorists.
“Here we are, people with just a generation or two [removed], who want to forget how their family benefited from this country’s welcoming hand and want to shut the door right behind them,” Casey said.
Dropkick Murphys also changed another of their songs, “First Class Loser,” to refer to President Donald Trump, saying it “fit him to a T.”
Fox News Digital reached out to ICE, the Department of Homeland Security and the White House for comment.

Ahead of the rally last week, Casey spoke to WBUR about his frustration with the Trump administration and its immigration policies.
“Dropkick Murphys have always sung about the immigrant struggle. Just a few generations ago, people in our families came to America and were able to ascend to the middle class here, and suddenly everyone’s supposed to forget about that. And now we’ve villainized hardworking immigrant populations,” Casey said.

He added, “Do I think that there doesn’t need to be some sensible immigration policy? Sure. But that’s not what’s happening in America now. Nothing even close. They’re abducting people who are taking part in the immigration process, snatching them when they’re showing up for their hearings at court.”
Casey has also attacked Trump supporters in the past and slammed fans who wear MAGA hats to concerts.

“They take the fact that we don’t support Trump as us being shills for the Democrats,” Casey said in 2025. “They love to call us c—-, which I find ironic because there’s a good portion of MAGA that would probably step aside and let Donald Trump have their way with their significant other if he asked.”
