The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on June 20 at 9 a.m. in Room 118 at the Lee County Administration East Building, at 2201 Second St., Fort Myers, to consider three agenda items.
The items that the board will consider include:
– Adoption of the fiscal year 2025-26 to 2029-30 Transportation Improvement Program that includes federal and state funded transportation improvements planned to be undertaken over the next five years. To review the document, visit https://leempo.com/?__wpdm_pdf_viewer=4479|17476890589721.

– Approval of the multi-modal project priorities (bicycle, pedestrian, transit and operational priorities), including an application from the city of Sanibel for $160,000 for a planning study related to a roundabout at Causeway Boulevard and Periwinkle Way.
