In April, Erin shared a rare selfie with twin sister Diane Murphy. Diane shared the role of Tabitha with Erin for 23 episodes in the character’s early years.
Erin then took over the role on her own when their physical appearances started to differ more with age.
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the Last Chance for Animals’ 40th Anniversary Gala in October of 2024, the former child star revealed which on-screen Darrin was her favorite in the fantasy-comedy series.
Dick York played the role of Darrin from 1964 until a serious back injury caused him to leave the show in 1969. The character of Darrin was then played by actor Dick Sargent from 1969 to 1972.
“I will give you a scoop. My entire life I have been so diplomatic because I loved them both,” the star told PEOPLE of the late actors. “They were wonderful guys. Watching the show, Dick York is a better Darrin.”
